    FT Adviser's Diversity Awards, now in their seventh year, aim to showcase the best initiatives, campaigns and success stories over the past 12 months when it comes to diversity and inclusion in the financial services sector.

    This year's Awards will be held on Thursday, 19 June at The Westin London City.

    The Westin London City boasts an impressive riverside location and spectacular views over London's historic River Thames.

    Sarah Lagarde: Motivational Speaker, 80% Human, 20% Bionic

    Sarah de Lagarde holds the position of Global Head of Corporate Affairs at Janus Henderson Investors, a role she assumed in 2023.

    With a career spanning over two decades in the financial industry communications, Sarah has developed her expertise through roles at prominent asset management firms.

    In 2022, Sarah experienced a significant personal challenge when an accident on the London Underground led to her becoming a double amputee. Despite this adversity, she has continued to engage in her professional and public speaking activities, leveraging her personal story to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
